bringing the ideas, the energy, and the audience

Music has been at the heart of everything I do for as long as I can remember. Over the past twenty-five years, I’ve been involved in the local music scene in just about every way imaginable — performing in bands, volunteering behind the scenes at venues, and promoting shows. What started as a passion became a calling, and a few years ago I made the decision to turn that calling into a career.
I’m based in Stoke-on-Trent, a city I’m deeply proud of and deeply committed to. This is a place with real musical roots, real creative talent, and real community spirit — but it’s also a city where too many people are priced out of the live music experiences they deserve. I’ve seen it first-hand, and it’s the reason I do what I do.
My goal is simple: to make live music accessible to everyone. Not just those who can afford premium ticket prices, but the families, the young people, the music lovers on a tight budget who have just as much right to share in the joy of a live performance. Culture shouldn’t be a luxury. It should be part of everyday life.
Through my work at Music Mania — Stoke’s independent record shop, ticketing agent and box office — I’ve built strong relationships with artists, venues, and local organisations across the city and beyond. I work closely with the Stoke-on-Trent Festival, helping to bring world-class classical music to the area, and I promote live shows across multiple genres, from rock and indie to folk and orchestral. I believe that a broad, inclusive programme is the only way to truly reflect and serve a whole community.
I’m not interested in building a business around exclusivity or chasing the biggest names. I’m interested in building something that people trust — a brand rooted in fairness, respect, and a genuine love of music. The shows I promote are affordable by design, the venues I work with are welcoming by nature, and every decision I make is guided by one question: does this help bring music closer to the people who need it most?
This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
Culture is not a luxury and it should be accessible to all
